Are they going to pick another contestant from the Pogo.com version of the game to be part of the show? I didn't have an account at the time they did so. The Daily 20 seems like a nice game (for them, no less), and doesn't take forever to play. I am still slipping up on doing the current day's game in the same day.  At least you can go back on the calendar and pick up the ones you missed.

As a reference guide for anyone who may want it, I won on 11/4 and 11/12, received forms for both on 11/25, sent them back the next day, and I got a combined check today (12/12) for them.

Your mileage may vary.  I sent my claim form on 11/12.  Nothing yet.

Out of curiosity, do they pay you anything for your question even if you don't win? that's still your material they're using.

I doubt it. I think the idea of the game is that you contribute your question, and you either a) get paid MUCH MUCH MORE for one question than a professional writer would, or b) nothing at all. It balances out and that's the chance you take.

I must really get on the Q&A bandwagon, assuming it's not too late.

Considering they've booked questions throughout the summer of 09, I'd say it is.

/Crosses fingers for a second season
//And a ratings wind
///The show is actually enjoyable enough to where it deserves a second season IMO
"They're both Norman Jewison movies, Troy, but we did think of one Jew more famous than Tevye."

Now celebrating his 22nd season on GSF!

I have to wonder if people would be saying this if there wasn't that dangling carrot of money involved. Because the couple of times I have watched it, I didn't see a single thing that convinced me that it was worth investing extra time in.

I'm not saying "OMG people only like the show who are being paid," but really, as someone who has very little interest in realizing financial benefit from it, the show just doesn't interest me.

I second that. I even watched another episode of it(the second time I have done so) and couldn't get into it. Chris is an ok host, it's not the host(as with TPIR), it's just a damn dry show over all. Kinda gave me the yawners like that USA originals did in the 80s (et al Bumper Stumpers, etc.)
