After reading the "Monty Hall says...", regarding the possible comeback of LMAD, I got to thinking of who could host LMAD. I racked my brain and I couldn't come up with anybody who would be free. Before the thread veered off course, some suggestions of who COULDN'T do it were mentioned, but none of who could. So I figured I would throw it out here in a new thread. The only person I came up with, but threw out was Howie Mandel only because Deal or No Deal is somewhat up this alley. So, who do you think could host LMAD?

Marc Summers was considered at one point to host a LMAD revival that didn't happen, but I think he'd be a good choice, especially if Harvey could be the announcer/sidekick. :-)

I'd also say Tom Bergeron, but he seems content with Dancing with the Stars and AFV.

I think LMAD should be an hourlong show, and I think Monty should occasionally host segments as he did on the most recent LMAD, providing he doesn't unintentionally show how inferior the current host is in comparison.

Todd Newton might also work.

I'm going to go completely off the board here and say Alton Brown.

He's smart, he's funny, and based on his work on Iron Chef America he's clearly adept at reacting to what's going on in front of him.

Here's my list of candidates:

Bob Goen
Todd Newton
Roger Lodge
George Gray

Figuring they'll go with a younger host, though most of the "old school" emcees like Martindale, Eubanks and Woolery could handle it with no problem.
