Nice. You have to wonder if they bought just another "partial" season of Jeopardy, or are they going through 2005-06.

I did notice, the last time we had any "not new to gsn" was in August of last year. At least they haven't rerun abused it this time around. Maybe they learned from their fiasco of 2005-08?

I wish they would start showing a new WoF season. Aren't they still running those 94-95 eps? Unless they switched up the season since my last check.

The current season on rotation has already been bought and paid for for at least two airplays - to change out the episodes now would just be throwing money down the can.

There seems to be a slightly greater willingness to lease episodes with the current executives running the show, so hopefully they'll change up the episodes here after this cycle.  While I know some people would love to see the shopping-era episodes, personally I wouldn't mind seeing pretty much anything through the mid-late 90s. (Right up through about the time they changed puzzleboards)

  • Just leave the set; that’d be terrific.

No offense man, but are you actually going to anything else here besides snark?

It's okay to genuinely contribute once in a while, you don't always have to be Mr. Clever.

Not telling you how to post, just an honest suggestion.

/I agree with Mark. I wish GSN would acquire Goen Wheel. Despite the lower budget, it was still a very entertaining show.

I totally agree; Goen did a superb job with the show. Might also be a good way to promote Bob's GSN Radio gig too.

ObJeopardyOnGSN: Glad they picked up season 22; a lot of great games there. And finally, I'm going to get to see David Madden's last show.

It's cool. I understand it's easy to get on a roll and overdo it sometimes. Thanks for hearing me out. :-)

Goen was golden here, and I'd agree too that GSN would pick this up. When I was younger, I was more excited to see his version than the nighttime version. Even watching some of the Goen WOF on the internets makes me wish it was still on now.

\But at the age of 4, Sajak frightened me.

Of course, I wouldn't mind if GSN found a way to acquire Daytime WOF episodes from January to June 1989. ;-)

How about the NBC daytime ones? We know they dug a few up for the Merv tribute...so they are still there, not burned as once thought.

It was always known that "a few" were still around (most collectors have several), but the overwhelming majority are gone.  Just because you saw one or two on GSN doesn't mean that the entire run survives and everybody's been wrong all these years..
This has been another installment of Matt Ottinger's Masters of the Obvious.
Stay tuned for all the obsessive-compulsive fun of Words Have Meanings.

Dear me, exposing Rolf to a new generation.
If the reruns hit, perhaps he'll be tapped to host the next season of Bingo America.
