Pittsburgh has a big change: Doctor Oz is breaking up WPXI's afternoon game show block. Family Feud is moving from runs at 12:30PM and 1:30PM to a single run at 4AM. Millionaire goes from 1PM to 12:30. AYS has not yet been picked up.
In summation:
4A: Family Feud (WPXI)
10A: LMAD (KDKA, assuming it takes Guiding Light's spot)
11A: Price is Right (KDKA)
12:30P: Millionaire (WPXI)
5P: DoND (WPGH)
5:30P: DoND (WPGH)
7P: Jeopardy (WPXI)
7:30P: Wheel of Fortune (WPXI)
Joe, Looks like something changed...
Zap2It, TV Guide, my trusty Comcast DVR (Laughs), and WPXI.com via Titan TV is showing Dr. Oz @ 12:30pm and Millionaire at 1:30pm. Why 'PXI are leading into an hour long show after the noon news @ 12:30pm is beyond me, but I guess they think if it works for Y&R over @ the mighty 2, then why not.
It's a shame 'PXI is relegating Feud to the 4am death slot...I would have loved to have seen Feud paired up with DoND on WPGH, but I guess that honor belongs to AYS, who is now taking the 5pm slot knocking DoND down to a single run @ 5:30pm.
I figured AYS would land on 53 after promoting the "audition" event @ the Homestead Waterfront Fuddruckers a couple of weeks ago (the TPIR event @ the River's Casino was more of an audition than this was, IMO), it was just a matter of when it would hit the sched.
Also, I am going to have to take the assumption away from your post for LMAD in the 10am spot on KDKA since they are still keeping Dr. Phil in the 3pm slot as the lead in to the 4pm news. Also, I think CBS where possible is wanting the LMAD/TPIR one-two punch from 10 to noon. I read some where that CBS was not going to force stations to air LMAD @10am letting affiliates decide where to slot the show, but since KDKA is a CBS O&O, I don't see them going against the status quo of the network.
In addition, when looking up times for LMAD, many affiliates are opting on the 10am bandwagon...For example, looking up listings for my mother (who is also jazzed about LMAD) who lives in DC, WUSA is slotting Dr. Oz in the 3pm slot when it starts next week, which will move Guiding Light's final week to 10am with TPIR "best of" filling that hole the following week.
I have a feeling that a few stations will air LMAD in the 3pm slot since many affiliates may have grabbed other syndie programming knowing GL was on its last legs. If LMAD takes off, stations stand to make good revenue if both shows are back to back. For those on this thread who have listed LMAD @ 3pm, let's see how quickly it gets moved to 10am if the show gets good numbers nationally. I bet you could see a time swap as soon as November sweeps if things go well, if not November, definitively February.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it! :-)
