TPIR $1,000,000 Spectaculars

I'm sure Mr. Randy West can help me out on this one (or possibly someone else). By answering this, no game-play spoilers should be given away. :)

Could you please inform me as to the artwork on the turntable? The Hollywood Mural? The daytime pink/purple/blue pattern? Something new? Carpet colour?

Thanks a bunch!

While I haven't seen it for myself, I was told the Birthday show has a "party" mural theme to it.

Chances are the other 2 shows have the Nighttime Hollywood Mural or the Military mural.
Enjoy lots and lots of backstage TPIR photos and other fun stuff here. And yes, I did park in Syd Vinnedge's parking spot at CBS

Someone who attended Bob's primetime birthday show posted about the turntable murals on golden-road.net's message board.  Third post down:

 "Price" is a class act!

Each morning we taped a primetime special I arrived in time to find the artists finishing a CUSTOM, hand painted mural for each of the 3 shows!

There were lots of other custom touches to the doors and to the set for each of the three shows. Special show openings too! Class all the way!

So, in other words, "No, I'm not tellin' you a damned thing, you're gonna just have to tune in and see." :)

So how much do you (plural) want to hear? As a viewer with Tivo or VCR I'd rather have the thrill of the surprising total impact, and then get a chance to review details. Ask away, if you REALLY want to know.         ;-)

I believe my original question as to if the Hollywood Mural was going to be reused has been sufficiently answered. I, personally have no desire to know what the mural looks like until December 13. I *do* enjoy a good surprise, especially with TPIR in the last 3 years.

Thank you, Randy.

Randy is too modest to tell you, but for one of the shows he gets a new coat of Cerulean Blue :-P

Exactly correct, my main man. And for keeping close to the vest, I thank you. I also know to stay away from CBS.com just in case.

Fred Wostbrock will donate some of his vests for Randy Vest, er, West to wear if/when he becomes the new announcer of TPIR.

I'm 100% with you, I don't want to know, and sometimes I wonder why I even read this particular part of the Forum, when it spoils stuff that I would rather be surprised with. I was merely commenting on Kyle's inquisitiveness. :)

Well, Chris, to be quite frank, I think commenting on it would have been more warranted if I had said something like "Hey, Randy!! Did someone win $1,000,000???!!! Did they play Plinko for $100,000?!! Did somone win $100,000 playing Plinko?! What games were played?! What games were won?! Was there a three car showcase? etc."

All I wanted to know was if they used the Hollywood Mural or not. Hardly something to write home about, isn't it?

Not at all. I hope you didn't think I was slamming you there. If I was slamming you, you'd know. :)
