Frank Dillon is creepy. Extremely creepy. That's all there is to it. It was nice to see those Jokers again!
Yeah....the civilian Bullseye seemed smoother and a little faster. Many celebrities seem to really need to show themselves off. I do think it was a little mean of GSN not to show an ep with the Bonus Island.....=(

My thoughts exactly.  Neither show had a bonus round!  BTW, I remember seeing F. Lee Bailey's run when it was on USA, and he doesn't win any more money.  He got zapped by lightning in the bonus game, then had to leave the show due to other commitments.  You probably noticed Jim tried to hurry game 3 along, trying to get in a bonus game, but it was not to be.

It looks like we'll have to flood GSN's ballot boxes again with Bullseye requests again next year.  I liked it when I was really young, but personally, I can see why it's not on GSN's current schedule, probably never to be seen as long as advertisers determine what we watch.

I pretty much turned off the TV and got another helping of food after seeing the intro to the second Celebrity Bullseye episode. I'll watch it later; the game itself is great, but I became weary of seeing bumbling celebrities make complete fools of themselves after the first episode.

I agree; it was a poor selection of episodes. GSN hasn't aired a civilian episode of Bullseye in 5 and a half years.

Even still, it was nice to see again in some form.

Well, you allready have my votes for next year.  Even though it was the celebrity version, I thought Bullseye was excellent!

Frank was quite a contestant. He came back for the TofC the next year, which was for $250K in cash and/or prizes at the time, and lost in the finals. The score was 500-400 when his opponent Eileen Jason(who was at the time the all time regular game winner in TJW history, until Joe Dunn came along in 1983) scored 500 in the game that decided the match and the championship, and Frank spun three individual categories on his final spin. Frank decided he didn't want to come back for the next tourney, and Jack offered him a job on Joker at that point.
I know I won't vote for this show next year since we would probably be shown the same type of episodes.
I posted a silly conspiracy theory on the GSN boards, but anyone think there could be the slightest shred of truth in that they aired the lackluster episodes on purpose to discourage what they perceived as a mass voting bloc from happening again (either through what was posted or through the actual voting)?  From the looks of it, those two episodes didn't help sway the opinions of those who have never seen the show before, and many (like yourself) wouldn't vote for it again.

I thought the whole Patrick Henry airing of Bullseye...maybe it was a shoutout. To us. Did anyone else think that? Why in the world would they air that episode otherwise? The novelty value of F. Lee Bailey playing a game show for $2000 at a time?

I agree with what you are saying but I would rather vote for something that I know can't be screwed up.  I voted GO daily with the exception of one or two days I voted for Bullseye.  I don't see how they can screw up an airing of GO.  I am sure that GSN could find a way, but GO had celebrities on a daily basis just like Pyramid.  The only way they could go wrong with it is to air one without a bonus round if there was such an episode.

I don't know, I just feel that this could be eliminated if we thought through the votes a bit more.  We all knew that GSN had Celebrity Bullseye which I haven't heard a single person say that they liked it.  So we were taking a risk by voting for it with a chance this would be aired.  Of course that is what was aired.

Don't get me wrong I am pleased that Bullseye was aired, but it was still a poor choice of shows.

Go was always self-contained. All episodes had a bonus round, and episodes in which the maingame was won in three rounds had a double bonus round(team played the bonus round twice).

While I think the 2 games out of 3 idea was absolutely horrible, and that adding the word Celebrity to a GS will instantly secure cancellation, it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be.  If there's a Feast 3, I plan to vote for Bullseye.  Besides, would you rather have watched Celebrity Bullseye, or the show immediately after it, Friend or Foe...

Patrick Henry? Oh man, I missed one hell of an episode!!! I'm trying my best not to make a joke about someone's corpse on a game show... ;-)

Wow. Shows how tired I was that night. I know it's not Patrick Henry...in my tired whatever, I was thinking to myself, "Why hasn't anyone else pointed it out that his name is the same as..." I'm an idiot. :) Anyway, I'm still going with the shoutout conspiracy.
