Usually they are, but I give them a pass being as how they're probably nervous and have no clue how to play "Password", or that it was even a TV show. I doubt the staffers will go through the trouble of an audition for a quick little 5-minute game.
Was there mention of a prize? Or a finish line score? Anything to indicate that this was an actual contest as opposed to a skit for funsies? Because as a skit, it was terrific.

No, which surprised me, as Fallon usually at least gives away a T-shirt.
"They're both Norman Jewison movies, Troy, but we did think of one Jew more famous than Tevye."

Now celebrating his 22nd season on GSF!

...as well as the "toaster" for the words in the bonus round!  :-D

Wrong version. But they could get some French-fry holders from McDonald's to use as wallets.

And yeah, they should have given away a tsotchke or (gasp!) $100.

They may well have done, off-camera.

Now why would they do it off camera and make no mention of it on the air?

The point was "let's play a game of Password with Betty White, isn't that cool?", not "let's play an audience game where the sole object is to win a prize, isn't that cool?"

For time?  'Cause it was a door prize?  I dunno.  Just a thought.

I think you've just solved the Clock Game problem.
