I got a personal e-mail from the producer of this new event asking if he could promote it on our forum.  Since it starts tomorrow, I've gone ahead and quoted his press release below.  Once he's joined our merry band, he may have some more information for us.

CASH CLUES
$1,000 Cash Prize For New Internet Game Show

Ever secretly wished you were a game show contestant? Cash Clues is your chance! Awesome Company is pleased to announce the release of its upcoming Internet game show Cash Clues, the show that anyone can play just by watching the Cash Clues YouTube videos. Combining elements of a mystery with a scavenger hunt, Cash Clues is a unique experience; anyone with Internet access can participate for the chance to win $1,000.

In the game show, Jessica is being held hostage!  She needs the viewer’s help to find her father's medallion so she can be freed. Jessica will release a series of five puzzles that each provides a clue to the medallion’s physical location.  The first person to find the medallion wins $1,000.

•   The first clue will be released Monday, September 26th, 2011 at  6 am PST.
•   Clues released at the website: www.youtube.com/cashclues

Cash Clues was hatched from the minds of Emmy-nominated Writer/Producer Seth Harrington (Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader, Project Runway All Stars) and veteran online-content producer Jim Zaguroli (William Shatner Online).  Cash Clues is their first Internet game show.
This has been another installment of Matt Ottinger's Masters of the Obvious.

What an eerie coincidence: I just subscribed to the website that has a 24-hour live video feed of Jessica's cell.

(But I'll still check out the quest for the medallion.)

Haha, yes that was one of the unfortunate side effects of having Jessica "being held hostage" - it tends to look a little horror-porn-y. But that's why she needs your help!

We just released our second clue today, check it out here: http://www.youtube.com/cashclues
Curious to see what you make of it!
