Interesting...looks like Video Games bombed, and WinTuition was finally taken off.

Wintuition is still there Mon Tue and Fri at 2:30PM EST. NY Eve(Wed.) boasts a $100K Pyramid marathon, and NY Day(Thu.) boasts a Lingo marathon.

And something else I noticed having looked at the schedule just now: the new lineup for Saturday has Match Game starting at 9:35, Greed starting at 10:10, and Newlywed Game starting at 11:25 (all times Eastern and Pacific). Why are they doing that?

Eh, I gots nothin to say, other than, re: GSN Video Games:

Told. You. Say.

It's nothing against GSN trying new things, it's just, that GSN has found something that's worked for nine years (Having been in the black, despite still-mediocre carriage, for 3 straight years (since 2001)). No reason to shake things up when they don't need to be shaken.

For those interested, the minor tweaks involve the abolition of GSN Video Games, Weekend Friend or Foe being delayed by 30 min, now starting at 2:00 PM ET. Whammy, Lingo, and RR fill in the next slot. WinTuition is gone altogether. In the 1:30 PM ET slot, 7 days/wk, is some form of Match Game (Either '7x or '90, I've got a feeling) Extra promos, and the Games Across America slots take up an extra 30 minutes, so the Saturday Funny Money has been axed.

BTW: Make the Connection, checking other advance scheds, may be for 3 days only.

Gene Rayburn's panel show, where the panel would ask questions of two contestants in an effort to determine how they were associated with each other.

Thanx! It's cool to see them sneaking different things on here and there. Maybe they will continue to do so. I actually kind of hope it is MG90 in the afternoon slot......=)

Earlier this year MG90 was shown in both the 12:30 and 1:30 slots. Would be nice to see again, though....

I think it was pretty much a given that GSN Video Games wouldn't work out so well, but it was a valient effort for GSN just to try and squeeze something new and different on the schedule.

On that note, this is definitely a noteworthy schedule adjustment. It's about time they removed WinTuition and Funny Money (at least from Saturdays) from the lineup.

I have a bad feeling about GAA. To me it sounds a lot like "DJ Games" without the DJ's and Scott Sternberg -- the man who gave us DJG, as well as Extreme Gong and Wheel 2000...

How about doing "Games Around The World", airing real game shows from England, Australia and the like?

At least GAA is airing in segments, unlike DJ Games, which was a full half-hour show. So if it were bad, at least people wouldn't have to put up with it for very long, since I'm estimating maybe at least 5 minutes for each segment.
