Family Feud Reruns
« on: May 23, 2014, 07:27:06 PM »
In the Seattle market our CW affiliate has two hours of Family Feud; once at 4p and once at 7p. The 7:00 hour is current episodes going up against Wheel of Jeopardy, but the 4 o'clock hour is reruns and in this case from 2011. Does anyone else get these very old reruns of the show in their area?

We have a rerun at 3:30, after the second run of the current season. The primary run is at 5:30.

In Portland, there's an hour of Feud at 11 AM on KPTV (the FOX affiliate) and an hour at 5 PM on KPDX (the co-owned MyNetwork affiliate). However, the TV listings don't tell me which hour are the current episodes.

Yes. Get them here in St. Louis. The current episodes were a full hour from 3pm-4pm on KDNL (ABC affiliate), the station removed the 5pm and 10pm newscasts and placed the 2nd current Feud at 5pm. So at 3:30pm, the Feud shown at that time slot is from Harvey's first/second seasons.

Milwaukee has pretty much the exact same situation: CW affiliate, 4p and 6p (latter is first/second run current season against WoJ)

Yikes. That says a lot about their news operations and ratings then.

Ratings had nothing to do with it, according to what I read. It was another one of those situations where one produces another's newscast (in this case, the NBC affiliate in St. Louis) and the arrangement ended.

Right now, they seem to have filled the news slots with Feud and Millionaire.

Addendum: they were apparently supposed to restart a news division, which last existed in 2001, right after that. Never got around to it.

I suppose you can still learn stuff on TLC, though it would be more in the Goofus & Gallant sense, that is (don't do what these parents did)"- Travis Eberle, 2012

WPSG in Philadelphia has an hour of first run episodes at 7, as well as an hour of an earlier season (that GSN happens to be rerunning into the ground as well) at 4
