Australian Millionaire Hot Seat reaches 1000 eps...

They did a little article on the show, including some stats and the 6 questions that were for $1 million (all have been missed)- Personally I think the shuffle format we have works a lot better than the Hot Seat format- but it seems to work over there  (but it's been fighting with Million Dollar Minute for the past few months)...

anyone else find it interesting how many US centric questions are for $1 million on an Australian quiz show?  Wonder why that is.

I'm guessing because we have a lot more pop-culture than other countries- the question that resulted in the first jackpot win on the original Australian Millionaire was on US TV debuts...

On the topic of Australia, it turns out Channel 10 is preparing to launch a new version of Family Feud hosted by Grant Denyer, former host of Million Dollar Minute.
