January 10, 1967 newspaper article found during book research: Groucho Marx has taped a pilot for a new sitcom called "Rhubarb" about J. Paul Getty's talking cat, who is the heir to Getty's fortune. Groucho is starring in the role of Getty. The sitcom will be produced by Mark Goodson and Bill Todman.

Sounds like a spin on the 1951 movie of the same name about a rich eccentric who adopts a stray cat (but I don't think this "Rhubarb" talked).  Upon the owner's death, the cat inherits a baseball team.  Hilarity ensues.  Or not.
