The funny thing is that back in the early Marshall days, very often the woman in one of the center side boxes (center, right, to be more exact) would be the second pick in a game, since most people started with either Wally in the upper left or Big Chuck in the lower left (or Lonesome George later). Karen Valentine was often in the center right and became the beneficiary of this method of box selection. Back then, even with Paul Lynde in the center, contestants wouldn't go there unless they needed to.
