VILLAINS 65, PEOPLE 13
VILLAINS 80 PEOPLE 14
That's a dry streak.  I'm thinking Deb Howard was that one win; Randy said she was either the winner before Randy or two before.  The winner just before Randy was the older guy from the first full week to air on BUZZR with the odd sideburns.

Considering how big the prize was at the time, I figured the winning % would be low- I’d think about 1 in 5 is tries is optimal (about 1 win a week), but 1 for 16 between those 2 remarks? I guess it shows how difficult the round can be- you basically need to get 10 out of 12-15 (depending on extra time won), and missing one seems to throw people off a lot..

And HE HAS NO CLASS was after a Gauntlet win, not a loss (it was when the guy with the sideburns won)

I had started to compile my own list of some of the better ones - but this is a great idea.  I think Yellow-Bellied Yahoos is my favorite so far!

I really applaud the effort the writers put in on this show.

From one episode where a pig farmer won the gauntlet:
WHOLE HOG

From watching the original run (summer 1979) He yelled Soooeee!
Had it on an audio tape.

Pre-Buzzr days, when there was only a handful or two of original episodes, it looked like they only had a dozen or so different board categories, which sounded about right since each board had 28 bloopers to start. Seems like an average round will reveal at most 7 or 8 bloopers, so a lot of bloopers carry over for use on future boards.

That being said, is anybody keeping track of the divergent categories being used?  Surprisingly, it seems like there are far more categories than what I expected (again, because of all the bloopers needed per board).

It would be interesting to track all the categories and the frequency of each over the series life.

As I mentioned in the W! thread on the Buzzr forum, this week introduced the new-ish design for the Villains that lasted until the end.  On this topic, however, was the "INTRODUCE US ALREADY" bit the first two-part message?

The telly-bellies also turned a blue color when not in use.
I'm a pacifist, and even I would like to see a little more action.

I believe you are correct - I don't recall seeing a previous two part message.

I really applaud the effort the writers put in on this show.

Me, too. I would imagine that could be quite fun and laughter-filled with a room of people coming up with these and sharing their ideas.

What's amazing is that the show only listed 2 writers: Gary Jonke and Jay Wolpert.

Wow! If that was indeed the only two people that came up with all of that, it's even more amazing.
