Who is...the Netflix?

THE MOLE has returned in a new version on Netflix. I've only watched the first episode and a few minutes of the second, but it seems like the game we knew and appreciated. The contestants are alllllllll young and TV-pretty (as is the host, Alex Wagner--who, in a nice parallel to Anderson Cooper, is a journalist).

My thoughts, after waiting fourteen years for The Mole to come back? I agree with almost all of this review:

To be clear, the above link is spoiler-free. Poke around the same site (Reality Blurred) and you'll find the same author's spoiler-filled discussion of the first five episodes, as well as an oral history of the ABC version.

Also to be clear, Netflix is releasing their ten-episode season in three batches. Five episodes were released on October 7, with three more coming on October 14 and the last two on October 21. An asynchronous release schedule is exactly how The Mole shouldn't work, but Netflix gotta Netflix.
