The 9:30AM Dawson SYndie run is in late 1980, the 5:30PM Syndie Combs run is in November 1988. The 5PM ABC Dawson run is in 1977(Fall?), and the 10PM-ish Saturday night Dawson ABC run is in March or April 1980(All times EST)

Thanks much. One question though, when will we reach 1981 on the Dawson syndie run?

After the 1980 episodes have all been shown.

Would it be that hard for you to do some elementary math?
Assuming late 1980 means November or December, I think it'd be reasonable to say that we'll be in 1981 within 45 days.

Of course, the 1981 episodes are so much better than 1980s.

 Why's that?

I ask because I've only seen a few episodes from late 1985 and several now from 1976-77 and the 80's syndicated shows we're on now.

Oh, and how the heck do you guys know exactly when these shows were taped?

I'm taking a wild stab in the dark here, but I believe my namesake was jesting.

They aren't, Don was commenting on Adam's desperation to get this exact airdate, when in the grand scheme of things it pretty much matters not at all.

But if you can't ask here, then where can you ask it?
We all know full well that daily watchers and collectors hang out here, so someone surely ought to be able to answer him.  (I tape MG every day.  I have the episode guides too.  Would you like to shoot me now, or wait till we get home?)

He didn't say "I Like FF, It Was A Cool Show".  He didn't ask what state everyone was from.  He asked a relevant, on-topic, pretty basic question.

Geez, if you don't know the answer then move along, there's nothing for you to see here.

Oh, no you don't.  Not this time.  Wait till you get home.  :)

Gotta love those classic Warner shorts.  Thanks for sparking that.

In 1980, there were no uniform airdates.  I would guess NY, LA and Chi got a set of tapes one week, send that set to Philly, DC and Motown for air the next week, then they'd send it to Pittsburgh, Denver, Miami, etc, until eventually it got to Minot, Peoria and Alpena six months later.  Is it tape dates wanted or air dates?  They could be run out of order so smaller markets may have run shows before NYC.  Satellite feeds and day-and-date airings were still a couple of years away.
