2 strange Gameshow appearances on TV

I don't know what it is, maybe I'm just nutz.

Tonight's Seinfeld episode featured TPiR subannouncer Roger Rose as a guest on the episode entitled "The Pilot."  (1990)

I'm now watching Reno 911 on Comedy Central, and one of the fire department actors was a Greed contestant, although I do not remember his name.   Tall, lanky, and big nosed.  He was not the Captain, that much I remember.

Is "The Pilot" airing on TBS? Is this the first episode of Seinfeld, or is it about the "show about nothing" that Jerry and George shot?

The latter. I think the first "Seinfeld" ep. was called "The Seinfeld Chronicles."

ObGameShow: Jason Alexander was supposed to be the center square before Whoopi.

Not sure. I'm almost positive I saw it on TBS, but I might be confusing with my local station.
