I'm leaving on a jet plane for beautiful downtown Burbank early Friday
morning (Friday the 13th). Have we determined yet who of us is attending
Game Show Congrefs other than yours truly? This way I'll know who to look for.

Does anyone have ideas for what they will do on Saturday? I was thinking of going to the MBC, but may go to Guiness World Record Museum and the Hollywood Wax Museum (after I blow up my inflatable dummy so I can utilize the HOV lanes!).

I believe there's a Wheel Of Fortune taping that day. It'll be your golden opportunity to check out those 1.5 million colors of light right there in person.

I believe the tapings are on Friday. I was a contestant on it 2 years ago, so I've seen enough live WOF shows.

Saturday has a trip to the Millionaire Play It! attraction at California adventure (10-5) and a "Hospitality Reception and Delegate Social" from 7:30-10pm.

And if it wasn't for my loyalty to the Stages festival at Theatre Building Chicago this weekend (with our guest star original "Star Search" megachamp Sam Harris--I know, that's stretching the game show definition), I'd be in Beautiful Downtown Burbank with you guys. Have a good time on me.

ObGameShow: Among our guest performers in past years at Stages were celeb panel mainstays Nancy Dussault and Joanne Worley (telling Hannibal Lecter jokes at a classy living room house party benefit--such class!) and in our first year, the writer of one of our pieces had worked with Allen Ludden (as a producer) on an ill-fated attempt by MTM in the late 70s to get into the game show business. (He and Betty were very good friends with Grant Tinker and Mary beyond Betty's portrayal of Sue Anne Nivens on "The MTM Show.")

Just a quick "thanks" to the folks who took the time to say hello at GSC - including several who have posted in this thread. It was good seeing you and putting faces with the names (and screen names).

I appreciate your coming up to say hi. I'm only sorry that the TPiR-LIVE schedule had me running around half of Southern California like I was in some BTC stunt. Hopefully we'll meet again when there is more time to talk.

And a giant thanks to the hearty souls who made the trek to see TPiR-Live as part of their trip.
