Here's how I'd do it:

No change in front game and bonus game at all, except when you win the match, you win $500 and play the Gauntlet for $10,000.

Is this better?

Please explain why it would be better to play for a chance to win LESS money than was offered on the original show.

We don't wanna suffer this "Mo' Money Syndrome", do we? That's why I made it $10,000 instead of $25,000.

Or, how about this: $10,000, going up by $2,500 each time you don't beat the villains in the Gauntlet.

Or... maybe we can leave it at $25,000.

Please don't say "we". That's speaking for the group. Not everyone shares the same opinion as you.

Last I heard, Burt Sugarman was more interested in reviving Celebrity Sweepstakes anyway (but this was four years ago).

And those dollar amounts don't get much lower than $2, $5 and $10. Great show, however. Loved that racetrack theme music. An Alan Thicke composition, yes?

Or maybe you could learn how to use the edit button instead of wasting bandwidth to add a stupid edit to your original equally stupid reply.  You might want to get acquainted with the buttons and their uses in the near future.

To add something worthwhile to the topic, Jay Wolpert does want to revive Whew! in the worst way.  As Curt alluded to above, Sugarman has the rights to it.

Well done, Michael!! A fellow Clevelander gets things back on topic. Now then. Who would be a good person to host the show, in your opinion? And does anyone have any blackmail on Mary Hart that we can use to get Sugarman to bring the show back?

Weren't there two Celebrity Sweeps themes? The ep. I saw at the Museum of TV and Television* seemed to have a more upbeat theme than the one I downloaded.

*Yes, I know it's the Museum of TV and Radio, it's a joke dammit.

Indeed there were. And it wasn't one theme for a while and then the other until the show ended. The program tended to flip-flop between the two. I think it depended on who owned the show that month.

Same as before, red for blocker, and green for charger.
