As soon as TPiR-Live finishes its run in Rincon/San Diego, I pack for Atlantic City and will finish the remainder of the AC dates. That's Sunday, September 19th through Friday, October 1st when that show wraps. The host for the first of those two weeks will be Jeff Trachta. The host for the second week is yet to be confirmed, but it appears it will be one of our Invision members' faves who has hosted for FOX as well as a couple of our fave cable channels. I'll post/confirm a name when I can.

Remember, mention the secret password "Invision" in Atlantic City, and the first drink is on me!

Meanwhile, we're down to the final 2 weeks in Rincon/San Diego, and Todd Newton and I are having the time of our lives... really! I never worked with a nicer or more generous performer. Todd will have to leave a week early for his new gig hosting VH-1's "Partridge Family" talent search. The other San Diego host has been Chris Harrison, but he's busy hosting the "Miss America Pageant".

So that takes us to ... (drumroll)... the last time I teased about a classic host who I could not yet name. You may recall it was for that last week of TPiR-Live in Rincon/San Diego. I can now publicly confirm that it will indeed be Chuck Woolery!

While our paths crossed just a few weeks ago, I haven't worked with Chuck since 1993. It should be a wild week. Chuck hosting TPiR. There's a combination I never thought about.

Get tickets early, the show has been selling-out for each performance. And of course, stay after the show to say "hi"!

Well, that will sure be different. Can you imagine if Chuck ever got to host the real thing? I can just see him saying: "We'll back with another pricing game in 2 and 2."

BTW, Randy, have you and Todd been able to view Hollywood Showdown or Three's a Crowd reruns yet?

According to Eric, he was the artist behind the translucent screen writing the words (backwards) as they were said.

I was just at TPIR Live in AC yesterday. I was pleasently surprised to see Michael Burger as host. He did a great job, and was great interacting with some very funny contestants.

Not only did they play those games, the grocery items used for Hole in One and It's in the Bag were virtually the same, as was the showcase. Still it was a great experience that as a game show and TPIR fan, I couldnt pass up.

Daniel Rosen's shtick (albeit very funny) was almost the same as the last time down there. And.... he wore the same horrid pepto-pink suit.

Hole in one was quite memorable, a woman who had to be at least 75-80 won the IUFB and got called up. She totally botched the order of the items. Im sure she was nervous, as it was quite obvious that a .79 pack of candy was the lowest price. However she silenced the booing crowd by magically draining the putt.

I had seats in the far, far left side of the theater in the 1st row, and actually the entire view of the left side of the stage was obstructed. Nonetheless, it was a blast.

Pardon me if this was asked. I haven't seen the live stage show yet. But I will, thanks to two complementary tickets from Showboat..hehe...But I'm wondering for those people who attended the live stage show, is the excitement and enthusiasm level of the live show's audience almost identical to taped show at Television City?

When I went, one person was complaining that Barker wouldn't be there to host. Apparently, enough people asked that ticketmaster.com states that Barker will not be hosting this show.

The enthusiasm is somewhat less than CBS, but casino's draw a more older crowd

If Barker were hosting the TPIR Live shows, tickets would be far more difficult to come by most likely.

Even at $25 a pop as opposed to free, they would probably be gone very quickly.
