Unnecessary Censorship in game shows
« on: September 15, 2004, 04:24:35 AM »
Fridays on Jimmy Kimmel, they do a bit when they bleep and blur stuff from TV shows and the news to appear if they are dirty. So far they ran clips from Family Feud, a bonus puzzle from WOF, and last week Jeopardy and Password.

But what if we take stuff from game shows and censor something out from them for no particular reason? The clip from "Joker's Wild" of that lady stuffing money into her sweater and bouncing them up and down (during the Audience Game) could be pixelated, or even Bud Collyer's closing spiel could be bleeped out to sound like if he was saying "Here's hoping that next time may be YOUR time to Beat the C(bleep)k!"

I'm guessing a lot of it wouldn't be particularly funny.

I would at least like to be awarded an assist on that. :)

Done.  In fact, it will be presented to you by Pat O'Brien.
