Black Is Black by Los Bravos are similar to those of the Alan Thicke version of
Celebrity Sweepstakes.
I also noticed that The Rolling Stones'
Undercover Of The Night opens very nearly like
$ale of the Century did in its 1988-89 theme--just the opening notes.
I further noticed that Herb Alpert's
Whipped Cream sounds like music played during
The Dating Game. This, no doubt, is because it was.

With regards to Black is Black, can anyone confirm an urban legend I thought I once heard way back when, that the song was about a man who....um....wanted to have "Katie Vick" relations with an old love? (WWE reference there, BTW)
Another soundalike...there was some fairly recent song that sounded like someone putting lyrics to the Davidson HS theme...not caring about much current music, I don't know what and by whom.

I think he means Nelly f/Kelly Roland's "Delima" from 2002 that sounds just like Sax Storm's Davidson HS's theme to a certain extent. Man. it seems strange that certain songs sound like some game show themes even if we don't notice them at first. It takes a few listenings to figure it out. By then, it all comes back to you like a boomerang.
