GS Cue/theme Wish List
« on: December 03, 2004, 07:04:22 PM »
I see there is a thread that is dedicated to the posting of cues, but how about the cue wish list? Here it is....

Personally, I, as well as probably many others, have been looking for the theme to the Lange version of Name That Tune, or the opening cue that the band would play during the contestant search in the audience, or for that matter... ANYTHING from the show.

Feel free to post your wish here!

My obscure list-

From TPIR-
-the race game/Buy or Sell game prize reveal
-an older 4 prize reveal from the 80's usually used in danger price...now currently uses the opening flute part on the show now

Other-
-the Theme, in the clear of Cash en Carlo
-The main theme, in the clear for Der Preis ist Heiss
-the main theme to Crowther TPIR
insert signature here

Here's mine:

Break the Bank [1976]--preferably better than the 80stvthemes.com copy
Hollywood Squares-1988 closing
Hot Potato-closing
Make the Grade
Split Second [1986]---not the chopped-up copy!
Talkabout
Wordplay
There are three things I've learned never to discuss with people: Religion, politics, and the proper wrapping of microphone cables.

I have the 86 closing to HS.. I can't recall if that is the same as the 88 close or not.. Or whether it was more instrumentation to it or not...

How's about....

- Anything clean from Hit Man
- Ditto Whew!
- Hot Potato round win cue/match win cue
- Password Plus "going to Alphabetics" song and the one commercial outro not edited from the main theme
- PYL prize description
- Anything from 100 Mexicanos Dijeron
- The Melody Roulette "song" (actually SFX) from Lange NTT
- TJW face the devil cue circa end of Barry, beginning of Cullen (the one that briefly retired the Bullseye music)
- TJW contestant cue circa Hidey theme era
- WoF Thicke-theme based puzzle solve cue
- Woolery/pre-1983 Sajak WOF commercial outros
- Blockbusters (Cullen) round win cue
- Any post-'82, pre-'98 Match Game think music
I'm a pacifist, and even I would like to see a little more action.

"Family Feud" electronic guitar cue from the 1970s.
"The Price Is Right - Make Your Move" prize cue.
"The Price Is Right - Big Showcase" cue (begins with kinda of chime-esque sting to it)
