[quote name=\'irismason42\' date=\'Jan 6 2005, 11:59 PM\']I was watching a '92 episode of Wheel of Fortune where there were no default letters anywhere in the bonus puzzle and the contestant chose 3 more and 1 more vowel and none of her letters didn't appear in the puzzle either and it's only a 3 Letter bonus puzzle, so what was the category and what was the original air date for that episode?

Well, the word "Chicago" doesn't contain any of the Big Six, and could qualify as:

People (the rock group)
Place (city that I work in)
Title (movie with Catherine Zeta-Jones; might've been a stage show too ;-) )

If it weren't for the fact that the North Side baseball team ends in a plural, that would've been a good possiblity.  Although you could do "CHICAGO CUB" and categorize it as "Person" and maybe get away with it.

Too bad Line of the Day's already been handed out--you would've gotten my vote.  :)

Although if you did "people", and made it CHICAGO CUBS, would be very hard to guess the puzzle with only the "S" showing....

I don't buy any of those.  A MUG of Vodka?  Wow.  And I doubt Joe Average would know of Boaz, or Non-Florida Miami.

Phrase: YOU LUCKY DOG.  So, not only is it possible, it doesn't have to be contrived.

You got an L in there.  Given the other possibilities which end in UCKY, maybe we should make an exception here.

I'll have an F, Pat!  On second thought, I'm not going there.

Let's say the puzzle is BIG-MOUTH BASS.  A and S are called before B.  Think the FCC might frown on this puzzle?

Probably not as much as if the puzzle was GO TUCK YOURSELF IN and all you saw was GO -UCK YOURSELF --

Love them Family Guy references.
