Can someone post the Bonkers cue?

Even if no one does, what we've gotten so far is enough to make anyone go Bonkers when they hear these cues. :-)

For those of you who keep check on this page every one in a while, it seems there's the Showcase #2 with a unique quitar ending I have never heard before. Very neat! It is in decent qualit, however.

Yes, it sounds a terrible splice that needed to fade out quickly since the tempo didn't even match up.

The cue the guitar piece came from was indeed a faster tempo piece than the synth showcase bed. It just sounds so out of sorts there.

Still, it does give us a clue as to another cue he has in his mitts...

2 "new" cues up; better versions of the Trip music and Temptation cue #2

May I point out here that the cue floating around as Temptaion #2 is not the actual cue they use on-air, but did use very seldom in the 80's... the actual cue has a keyboard-esque sound carrying the melody, not the trumpets. This cue here was used in the latter days on "Walk of Fame" and on the very first playing of "Credit Card" (12/7/87).

Since we're talking about TPiR cues, I have a relevant question: The Switcheroo and Switch? cues sound like they were cut from the same piece of music.  Are they?

Yes they are! The Switch? switching music is the very end of the Switcheroo bed. We had this question come up over at golden-road.net in one of the biannual Q&As with Roger, and he confirmed that yes, they are from the same cue.

It is also to be noted that it was also used for Take Two, starting 6 seconds in

Strange, Casey -- Temptation #2 is marked Temptation #3 ???

And, btw, Temptation #4 is a variation of one of the car cues, using the middle section of, I believe, a flute remix.  Also, the sax remix has also been used as a car cue in showcases and once was played through as a showcase cue on Tom Kennedy's TPiR.  Listen to that and you'll find the section I mean.

Said cue being the one they often use for camping equipment and the like.  I recognized it almost immediately.

BTW, this guitar cue was also played straight through once for a rock and roll showcase way back during the Dennis James syndicated run.  Just my luck that was the night I'd loaned out my tape recorder -- and I never heard it used that way again.
