Maybe it aired on a week I did not watch. Otherwise I wonder why GSN did not some of Ray's shows that were taped at Opryland USA during 'Family Feud Fridays' in '02?

There could not have been clearance issues, could there? I would have liked to see those shows instead of sone of the charity shows that aired instead.

Because it would set off a slew of posts regarding Ray Combs' corpse hosting Feud.

{Conan O'Brien}I'm gonna go to Hell when I die...I'm gonna go to Hell when I die{/Conan}

Seriously, that's one poorly worded sentence. Makes me think Irismason was your grammar teacher. ;-)

Let's translate it:
I wonder why GSN did not air Ray's Opryland USA episodes during their "Family Feud Fridays" in '02?
"They're both Norman Jewison movies, Troy, but we did think of one Jew more famous than Tevye."

Now celebrating his 22nd season on GSF!

They never got around to airing it on Feud Fridays in the four months they had the evening blocks in 2002, notable also for giving us our first glimpse of some $10K and $20K Pyramid episodes for the first time since 1973 and 1978-79.

I don't think the Bullseye era of Combs Feud has been seen since pre-Dark Period.

Wasn't there a week of TPIR v. Y&R from 93 that aired a few years ago after the Dark Period?
Enjoy lots and lots of backstage TPIR photos and other fun stuff here. And yes, I did park in Syd Vinnedge's parking spot at CBS

There have been some Bullseye episodes of syndie Feud seen since the Dark Period, but the 1992-94 seasons of syndie Feud haven't had a regular birth on the schedule since pre-Dark Period. If they keep Combs Feud on the schedule another year and a half or so(they're in the middle of the 1989-90 syndie season now IIRC), they'll presumably get to that era.

This may be too rational a speculation, but since Opryland USA does not exist anymore as a tourist attraction, why put on a week of shows promoting an amusement park no one can visit?
Let's Make a Deal was the first show to air on Buzzr. 6/1/15 8PM.

Why air a show with the cast of "Ryan's Hope" playing the cast of "Capitol" (or whatever)?

I realize you're talking generic cancelled shows, but I don't think "Capitol" ever made it on FF as its CBS days were over before the Combs revival began. All the CBS soaps that were on when Combs FF was on are still part of the CBS daytime lineup. "Ryan's Hope" can still be seen on SoapNet, though I don't know if the cast ever made the trip west for FF.  Zach could probably verify.

I guess what I'm putting on the table is that since there are eleventy billion FF eps with the familiar set, the ones with a different set promoting a defunct theme park would be easy to skip.

Five members of the 1978 RH cast did have a matchup against five stars of All My Children on ABC Feud.

That is something I'll look forward to.

About another post, the first five 'TPIR' vs. 'Y&R' CBS shows aired on GSN in  September of '03. Bob had on a suit that week.

The latter rematch did air on Friday nights in '02. For reference Bob wore a sweater that 'week'.

Both weeks are highly recommended.

Not sure if it aired before this, but the first time I saw TPIR v. Y&R was September 2000 (week from 1993). The same shows aired again in June 2001.

I don't think they aired all the shows from the 1994 week in 2002, did they?

Didn't stop ESPN Classic from showing episodes of the "Boardwalk and Baseball" game show, even though said theme park is now a vacant lot.
