I HOPE YOU SEE THIS BIGJON (THIS IS NOT TO PUT YOU DOWN EITHER),

If you could a computer version of $ale Of The Century, what would be featured on there?

Myself, I would either have:

3-D version of Jim Perry and Jack Kelly (with possible voice-overs)
3-D version of Summer Bartholomew and Barbara Lyon (w/ possible voice-overs)
An announcer that could do as well as Jay Stewart/Bill Wendell

YOU COULD PLAY FOUR DIFFERENT VERSIONS OF SALE:
1969-1974 (Jack Kelly/Joe Garagiola)
1983-1985 with the SHOPPING (the most popular to SALE fans)
1985-1987 with the THE WINNER'S BOARD
1988-1989 with the WINNER'S BIG MONEY GAME (the least favorite)

YOU CAN CHOOSE YOUR SET:
THE 1969 version
THE 1983 version (w/ rainbow buzzers)
THE 1985-1989 version
AUSTRALIAN VERSION (2001)

Whaddya think? How would you do yours?

Just erase all reference to the 69/73 version, and MAYBE it would be closer to reality...

I'd do one that had challenging questions and entertaining and engaging gameplay. Then I'd worry about WHAT THE HELL IT LOOKED LIKE.

Interestingly enough, an Australian company actually released a CD-ROM version of said country's $otC in the mid-90s...don't know too much about it, other than that it used a buzz-in device called Slammer that plugged into your PC's game port and the game itself supposedly wasn't that good.

Oddly enough, I've been trying to find my copy of this game for about 2 weeks.  If I can find it, I'll get some screenshots and type up a review.  From what I remember, the game was pretty decent for 1995-6 technology.

*sigh* After winning it on EBay and having it shipped over here by an Aussie friend of mine, I've never been able to play it.  You need to have the slammer connected to play (the only other game I've played with the slammer is J! which was a hoot) but yet it'd cost me $30 or so just to get the adapter cord.  So for now, it sits, gathering dust...

Maybe I was in a little over my head, but just to get feedback on it. Seems like it is flushed right down the toilet. I just thought it was a great idea. Okay, the 1969 version has been killed, but what about the other stuff.
