I specifically remember there were breaks in the show. Don't remember if they were stations promos or commercials.

That's true today, but most of these posts are from 2005. YT wasn't as prominent back then.

My guess is that our new member discovered the very old thread doing a Google search, and didn't realize that it was out of date.  Happens more than you might think.
