Well, since she IS Miss Missouri, and she must now represent her home state...

...Does that mean she is contractually obligated to fufill any requests that mention her,...um.... "natural talents" and "The 'Show Me' State" in the same sentence?

[Note To Self:  Add that to list of things to do in St. Louis during my business trip in 3 weeks].

Back on topic, Finnessey is the second former Miss USA to serve as game show hostess, following Summer Bartholomew (1975) on $ale of the Century in the mid-'80s. As for Stacey Hayes (the "other girl" Jimmy Owen was referring to), I'm sure we'll be seeing more of her in the years to come.

BTW...whatever happened to Berglind Icey (from Cram)?

Icey has also been on Style TV's "Style Court" as the baliff and was last year's spokesmodel for St. Pauli Girl beer.
This isn't a plug, but you can ask me about my book.

There's at least one other Miss USA who was a game show co-host: Julie Hayek from BtB85.

Jackie Loughery of 1954's "Earn Your Vacation" was also a Miss USA. Should we count TPIR's Brandi Sherwood?
Let's Make a Deal was the first show to air on Buzzr. 6/1/15 8PM.

Probably not, considering that her main duty is pointing at stuff and she hasn't spoken an audible peep on a regular basis since she started on that show (and there's at least a couple of showcases this last season where they should have).

Most importantly, she's not even billed as a hostess - nor are the other 'Beauties', for that matter.

:-D

Leave it to Randy to give me a gigantic laugh loud enough to wake the neighbors at 4 in the morning...

Note to Randy:  That line would make one hell of a promo for season 4, lol (No chance in hell of that happening though!)

To get back on topic...It's a shame from what I've heard that Lingo doesn't tape with a live audience, I'd love to get some insight on if our new female linguist (it worked better than lingo-ite) fits alot better on the show with Chuck than Stacey did (IMHO, Stacey got on my nerves)

One of them reran last Friday.  Rich did all the talking while the ladies mimed.  Like the early "Dear Jan" Showcases before they let Janice speak them (and do a wonderfully hammy performance).

Frank Wayne may've let the models get a little more money for speaking parts, but Barker sure as hell isn't.
