[quote name=\'Jimmy Owen\' date=\'Oct 4 2005, 10:05 PM\']If I had my druthers, I'd like to see a 70's TTTT with Nipsey and the "Jackpot!" pilot he hosted.  I don't recall Nipsey getting more face time on MG than the other panelists; was there time to even do a poem on that show?

I believe he did say a few poems on MG... I don't seem to recall if it happened on a regular occurance or if it was just that he was able to squeeze one in every once in a while.
Don't think too hard... you might give yourself a headache.

Count me among the complainers.  Even if they only do one show, they could have picked a better one.  I like the idea of running $25KP in the $100KP slot.

Side question:  Are any episodes of Rhyme or Reason in existence?
Protecting idiots from themselves just leads to more idiots.

Oh, to have access to The Naud Library.
What The Network For Games is doing is more than we're getting by way of fond rememberance out of Nick At Nite or TV Land, who some years ago were showing Car 54, Where Are You and many other gems from that era. Now a show from then is about 10-20 years too old for those channels. How far they've come. Or how far they've gone.

Only the pilot exists as far as we know.  By the way - have we ever figured out exactly who WT Naud was?  I know there's been some question as to whether it was really Jack Barry or Chuck Barris (Curt's Game Shows of 1975 page has more info about that); or someone else who was seemingly only involved in the shows "Blank Check" and "Rhyme and Reason".

Geez, I've got to update.

Naud's a real person - here's his IMDB page (which doesn't list the game shows).  Bob Eubanks' book notes Naud had a "mantra" before most other people claimed to, and once tried to work an audience in an empty studio by going to the seats and meditating.

"William T. Naud" spelled backwards is "Ripoff Of Match Game".
