Dancing with the Stars season 2
« on: December 08, 2005, 06:28:39 PM »
ABC has announced the celebrities for the second season of Dancing with the Stars, and former 2-Minute Drill host Kenny Mayne has been announced as one of the participants.

Will he tell his dance partner, "Your two-minute drill starts now"? Or will the judges give him a Question of Great Significance?

We shall see come next month, as he competes alongside Jerry Rice, Lisa Rinna, WWE diva Stacy Kiebler, Drew Lachey and others.

Gee, your typing hand became untired pretty quickly, huh?  Furthermore, your source would be what?

Since Mr. Henke is currently applying for a degree program in Elementary Copying and Pasting, here is the link.

Again I ask, cause we know he reads the responses, and yet he continues to ignore them.... A punishable offense? How else will the child learn?

There is nothing in the Eligibility Requirements about punishing those who haven't learned the most elementary of computing tasks after ten years on the Internet.  Of course, it probably never occurred to Matt or Chris -- and it certainly never occurred to me -- that one could use the Internet for ten years and still not understand the concept of "copy and paste."

That said, Brian cited his source per the rules.  As much as there are days when I'm tempted to blur the line -- or completely obliterate it -- there is a difference between a punishable offense and a mere offense to the intelligence. :-)

I understand your point, Dave, but when it keeps happening over and over again, it becomes a pattern.

And this is just my opinion, but I think the only reason Brian (and Zach, too, for that matter) continues to do it is because he doesn't get punished for it. My clue was an email sent to me by the "esteemed" Mr. Horan which said "Zach Horan won't get banned from the board. :) Just like Brian Henke won't."

Not suggesting anything...but just a thought.

There are lots of things that people wouldn't do if we threatened to punish them for doing them.  We could threaten to suspend people for praising Press Your Luck, liking GSN's original shows, saying that Osmond Pyramid sucked, or having the last name "Gavazzi."  Somebody's annoyed by each of those things (granted, the last one annoys only a particular psychopath, but work with me here); does that mean we should prohibit them?  Where do you draw the line?

Zach and Brian are annoying only if you let them annoy you.  I'm not sure I'd be too annoyed by an email from a person who, when told he was full of crap, took it as a badge of honor and proudly proclaimed it to others as often as he could.

Ah, yas. I shall patiently bide my time. It's always paid off before.
And now, to a game show related item: Arthur Murray Dance Studios provided gifts for Tic Tac Dough bonus rounds.
