Has there ever been an instance when a game show cancellation was announced and instead of being upset with a game going off the air, you were glad to see it gone? If so, what was it or what were they?
For me, it was Win, Lose or Draw. Sorry. I absolutely hated it. The fact that Wordplay got dumped for it didn't help matters either in my eyes.

LMAD on ABC in 1976.  At the time, I figured it had run its course, I could still see it in prime access anyway and, best of all, Jim Peck would be getting a new show from proven packager Heatter-Quigley.  My euphoria died in sorrow, however, when I actually saw the finished product that was "Hot Seat."
Let's Make a Deal was the first show to air on Buzzr. 6/1/15 8PM.

Most of us likely had that feeling for a show that debuted roughly 30 years ago at this time:  The Neighbors.

Personally, I was pretty glad to see the syndie T or C finally end, even if Bob Barker *was* the host.  It seemed pretty archaic and corny to me at the time; also How's Your Mother In Law?, Hot Seat and Family Secrets, whose only saving grace was its theme music.

IIRC, there was a newpaper article on that last series. and the creator claimed that "Relationship games are the only types of game shows that work nowadays.  It's hard to get people excited about what's behind Door #1 when there are $70 million lotteries out there".

NOT!!!

Nope, you're not. I wasn't very crazy about it either. Or MG 98...

The 1981-82 syndie Treasure Hunt, I can also do a lot without.

I was lucky; no station in my market cleared the show.

Donny's Pyramid.  It's really could've been executed a lot better than it was, and the small imperfections about this show really pissed me off.

After hearing only negative reviews about it and not liking the fact that it pretty much steered clear of the versions that preceded it, I actually never got to see this revival and I don't want to. So, you're not the only one.

Same goes for MG'98. At any rate, both shows came on at like 1 or 2 am where I lived at anyway.

When Dawson announced on the final episode of Feud '94 that it was their final episode in May '95.  Combs got somewhat of a last laugh on Jonathan Goodson when Feud was gone, and he was back on TV with Family Challenge.

I thought Combs was miserable.  He wasn't laughing.

Friend or Foe, Card Sharks 01, and Donny's pyramid. Super Six? Blerch!

I'll just take my laptop and go :)
Don't think too hard... you might give yourself a headache.
