As long as the snake charmer puzzle is in the pilot, they're golden.
Let's Make a Deal was the first show to air on Buzzr. 6/1/15 8PM.

Either that, or if they make the game play more interesting. The puzzles were good, but the whole revealing the picture thing--which was so fresh and interesting on Concentration 30 years earlier--blew.

Well, it seemed to have worked for all of these years in the UK and in Australia.  :)

Host: You've solved the toss-up Catch Phrase, so now you get to try and solve the Super Catch Phrase for the money in the bank. Go ahead and smack that button when you feel lucky...
<smack!>
Host: OK, we won't show what's behind that square.  You have five seconds to guess the Catch Phrase...
Contestant: But there's nothing revealed...
<buzz!>
Host: Ooh, sorry, time's up.  Let's go to our 13th toss-up Catch Phrase of the round...

How are they supposed to reveal the puzzle?  All at once?  That would make for a silly game.
If you didn’t create it, it isn’t your content.

When I was younger, we would do the little puzzles (known as "plexers") in class, and I always thought it would be a great idea for a game show. Little did I know that I was about six years too late. ;-)

LOL...actually, our local HS quizzer (The Long Island Challenge) had a CP-esque round in the game during its 1st season, but it was dropped after that when they decided to make it strictly a Q&A show.

Come on, use your imagination! For example, the dollar value of each catch phrase could be determined by a giant slot machine. The host could say, "As you know, 'The Joker's Wild' is a game of visual puzzles."

Or getting a catch phrase right gives you the chance to roll giant dice, or capture a hexagon to go side to side on a big board, or drop a Plinko chip. Or, preferably, something exciting and new.

And I can't explain the Brits and Aussies, although I did see "Burgo's Catch Phrase" down under. Apparently when it's raining and they can't surf, they'll watch anything.

That idea sucks. Plain and simple. (Sorry for the bluntness...had nothing to work with.)

I heard it involved a row of seven catch phrases.  Who ever gets the last one wins.

Oh.....do I get to award Randy his first ever WHOOSH?

Or am I reading too much into GPee's pretty funny comment? In which case, Randy can award me a WHOOSH right back, followed by a "DumbAss".

Actually, the basics of the game are that you'll see the phrase in three sections.. the first section will setup the scene, the second give you a little more towards solving the puzzle, and the third will moreless give the puzzle away.

The reason that I know this was that I was contacted to put together a team of FLASH people in order to develop the puzzles for the pilot show.. but due to "Hollywood Politics" (as best as I can put it) we were taken off the project.

So close.. yet so far away. :)

There is no truth to the rumor that there will be a new feature on CP called "Mr. Chips' Clips."
